Skanda Sashti is one of the most auspicious observances dedicated to Lord Murugan, honoring him alongside his divine consorts Valli and Devasena. It is a time for devotees to seek the blessings of the Lord of Victory for courage, wisdom, and spiritual grace.
The Abhishekam — a sacred ritual bathing of the deity accompanied by Vedic chants — is a deeply moving experience that brings the community together in collective prayer and reverence. The evening will culminate in Aarti, filling the temple with light, music, and the warmth of shared devotion.
