Nartan Academy of Classical Dances KC

Nartan Academy of Classical Dances KC was established in Overland Park in 1998 by Ritu Daga, who trained under Guru Smita Shastri in Ahmedabad. The academy trains students of all ages in the classical Indian dance forms of Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi. Over 25 years, more than 90 students have had their Arangetram (graduation performance) under Ritu Daga. The academy is actively involved in the KC cultural scene, performing at Indian associations, ethnic festivals, and community events. Has performed at Kansas City Kansas Community College and collaborates with SPICMICAY and the Carnatic Music Association.
