Chinmaya Mission Kansas City has opened registration for its 2026–27 Bala Vihar and Shishu Vihar program, designed for children ages 2 through 18.
The youngest learners, ages 2–4, join Shishu Vihar, while children and teens ages 4–18 attend Bala Vihar, where weekly classes include stories, games, crafts, and skits alongside slokas, bhajans, and Gita chanting.
Older students can take part in a slokathon, swaranjali, and dedicated Gita classes, and the program builds community throughout the year with festivals, camps, and cultural events. Families who want to keep language and heritage connected can also enroll children in optional Hindi, Tamil, or Telugu classes alongside the core curriculum.
Classes meet Sundays from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM, beginning August 16, 2026. Registration is fast and easy online at
