Lawrence Utsav warmly invites the Kansas City metro’s South Asian community to Durga Puja 2026 — a full day of faith, devotion, and cultural celebration in the heart of Lawrence, Kansas. Join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2110 Harper Street for a memorable gathering that honors Goddess Durga and brings our community together.
From the solemnity of morning Puja to the joy of Sindur Khela, the flavors of a shared lunch and dinner, and the energy of a live Cultural Program and Musical Night — this is a day designed to nurture the soul and celebrate the traditions that unite us.

- Puja: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
- Sindur Khela & Visarjan: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Dinner: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- Cultural Program & Musical Night: 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM
