Hanuman Vedic Center is proud to announce a truly historic occasion — the inauguration of the Utsava Murthy Sthāpanā, coinciding with the Hanuman Jayanthi Mahotsavam, taking place over three sacred days from Saturday, May 9 through Monday, May 11, 2026, at 905 N Nettleton Ave, Kansas City, KS 66012. The center will inaugurate several divine Utsav idols: VeerAdroopa PanchAnana Hanuman Murthy with Suvarchala Devi, Sri Srinivasa Murthy with Sri Alimelu Manga and Sri Padmavathi Devi, Sri Subramanya Swamy with Sri Valli and Devasena, Sri Siva with Parvathi Devi, Lord Ayyappa, and the Navagraha Devathas — marking the beginning of a profound new chapter for the center and the Kansas City Hindu community.
The three-day program is filled with devotional rituals and ceremonies. Saturday, May 9 begins at 8:00 AM with Ganapathi Puja, Deeksha Dharana, and Jaladivasam, followed by Mangala Harathi and Prasad at noon. The evening program commences at 5:30 PM with 108 Hanuman Chalisa Parayana with devotees, followed by Dhanvyadivasam and Pushpadivasam at 6:30 PM, and concludes with Mangala Harathi and Prasad at 8:00 PM. Sunday, May 10 opens at 7:30 AM with Sundarakanda Parayana Havan, with Purnahuthi at 4:00 PM and the First Abhishekam by devotees to Sri Hanuma and Suvarchala Devi at 5:00 PM. The celebrations culminate on Monday, May 11 at 6:00 PM with the auspicious Sri Hanumath Santhi Kalayanam.
