The Hindu Temple & Cultural Center of Kansas City (HTCC) is offering a Free Bharatnatyam Workshop on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This is a rare chance to experience the grace, rhythm, and centuries-old tradition of one of India’s most revered classical dance forms right here in Kansas City.
Led by Hindu Yuva of UMKC, the workshop is open to all experience levels and ages — whether you’ve never taken a dance class or have been practicing for years, everyone is welcome. Attendees can expect an engaging, hands-on introduction to the storytelling, mudras, and footwork that define this living art form.
Signup is required to attend. Register by scanning the QR code on the flier, visiting templelinkc.org, or calling 913-631-7519. This event is free and not to be missed — especially if you can pair it with the Classical Music Workshop the same morning (11 AM–Noon) at the same venue for a full day of classical Indian arts.
This event is presented by the Hindu Temple & Cultural Center of Kansas City, a valued KCdesi community partner.
