The India Association of Kansas City (IAKC) is hosting Craft4Critters, a free workshop for kids and Yuva members on Saturday, July 25, from 2:30 to 4:00 PM at the Blue Valley Library. This creative, hands-on event invites young animal lovers to craft handmade toys and blankets for shelter pets — all while learning the joy of giving back to the community.
Participants will get to make a variety of fun and easy projects, including a no-sew fleece blanket, a paper towel roll puzzle toy, a fleece cat toy, a sock toy, a paper towel hamster toy, and a lot more. No experience is needed — just bring your enthusiasm and a big heart for animals!
All creations made during the workshop will be donated to Wayside Waifs during IAKC’s educational tour on July 31. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids and youth to connect crafting with compassion. For more details, visit iakc.org or reach out at iCare@iakc.org.
This event is brought to you by the India Association of Kansas City, a Community Partner of KCdesi Events.
