Diverse Summer Camp Programs

At Club SciKidz Kansas City, we offer a wide array of summer camps tailored to various age groups and interests:

Grades PK-K: Introduce your little ones to the wonders of science with camps like “Little Scientist” and “Mini Medical School,” where they engage in hands-on activities that make learning fun and accessible.
Grades 1-3: For budding scientists and engineers, programs such as “Pokémon Professors,” “Makebot Robotics,” and “Junior Robot Engineer” provide an immersive experience into the realms of robotics, programming, and scientific exploration.
Grades 4-7: Older children can delve deeper into specialized fields with camps like “Quad Copters Aerial Robotics,” “Advanced Robotics with LEGO Spike,” and “Emergency Vet,” offering advanced challenges and learning opportunities.

Each camp runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For added convenience, we offer Pre-Camp care starting at 8:00 AM and Post-Camp care extending to 5:30 PM.

Do you have a passion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)? Are you looking for a fun and rewarding way to spend your summer? Club SciKidz Kansas City is now hiring enthusiastic and creative individuals to be STEM Instructors for their 2025 Summer Camps.

Why Join Club SciKidz?

As a Summer Camp Instructor, you will have the opportunity to engage young minds (ages 4-15) in hands-on STEM activities, experiments, and projects. With 30 different themed camps, including Robotics, Programming, Veterinary Medicine, Special Effects, Chemistry, Rocket Science, and more, this is a fantastic chance to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Camp Details

Duration: June 2 – August 1, 2025 (6-8 weeks)
Locations:

United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Leawood, KS
University of Saint Mary Overland Park Campus, KS
Hope Chapel, Olathe, KS

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $550-$600 per week

Who Should Apply?

Must have previous experience teaching or managing children (formal or informal)
At least one year of college experience required
Must pass a background check
Authorized to work in the U.S.
