Join Hands with Chinmaya Mission Kansas City — Building a Legacy of Faith and Knowledge
A new chapter of spiritual growth is unfolding in the heart of our community. Chinmaya Mission Kansas City (CMKC) invites all members of the Indian diaspora to be part of the Bhoomi Puja for Chinmaya Guruvayur Ashram, a sacred milestone in the Mission’s journey to establish a permanent center in Olathe, Kansas. The Bhoomi Puja will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., at 15334 S Pflumm Road, Olathe, KS, in the divine presence of Swami Aparajitananda. The event marks not just the beginning of construction, but the laying of spiritual foundations for generations to come — a home where our children can learn the timeless values of Vedanta and where families can grow together in peace and purpose.
For those who cannot attend the Bhoomi Puja in person, your presence in spirit and your contributions are equally vital. The Mission’s ambitious plan to build Chinmaya Guruvayur Ashram — complete with prayer halls, classrooms, a bookstore, and community spaces — depends on collective support. Donations, whether large or small, will help transform this vision into reality and strengthen the spiritual roots of the Indian community in Kansas City.
This is a call to all who value tradition, education, and service. Let us come together — to build not only an Ashram but a beacon of culture, knowledge, and devotion for our children and grandchildren. Every offering brings us closer to Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s vision of spreading light through knowledge and selfless service.
KCdesi proudly celebrates Chinmaya Mission Kansas City — a KCdesi Prime Partner — and invites the community to attend, contribute, and take pride in this historic milestone.
