Association of Bengali’s Kansas City-Sangam celebrated 25th anniversary by helping children in need

The Association of Bengalis Kansas City-Sangam’s
25th-anniversary
celebration in 2020 culminated with a donation this week to Foster Adopt
Connect , a nonprofit based in Lenexa that
helps families who adopt abused and neglected children.

The Association of Bengalis’ 25th anniversary was in 2020.

Last December, more than 50 Bengali families in the Association raised
money for the charitable project. Volunteers purchased diapers, baby wipes,
sanitizer, shampoo, masks and other items for families helped by Foster
Adopt Connect and delivered the items on Tuesday.

Managers at Foster Adopt Connect thanked the Association of Bengalis Kansas
City-Sangam , calling the donations thoughtful,
and generous.
